What does an AI Agent Security Maturity Model look like?

Moty Douek
Engineering Team Lead, Token Security

Agent risk is the chance that something goes wrong, multiplied by the agent's reach. Controls lower the first number. This maturity model is about the second: how well you right-size what each agent can reach.Moty Douek walks through the five stages:

  1. Unseen: you don't know which agents exist.
  2. Observed: you see some agents, but not the full picture.
  3. Contextualized: you know each agent's credentials, activity, and reach.
  4. Controlled: each agent's reach matches its purpose.
  5. Governed: agents stay in line without anyone watching them, and drift is handled as it happens.

You'll learn why most organizations sit between Unseen and Observed, and why the jump to Controlled is the hard one.
