Token Security and Simeio Partner to Extend Enterprise Identity Security to AI Agents

Combining AI agent discovery and access enforcement with identity advisory, implementation, and managed services

NEW YORK, October 27, 2026: Token Security, the leader in identity-first AI agent security, today announced a partnership with Simeio, a global identity security services provider. The partnership combines Token Security's platform with Simeio's advisory, implementation, and managed services to help enterprises discover AI agents, establish ownership, align access with business intent, and enforce least privilege across the AI agent identity lifecycle.

AI agents are rapidly gaining access to enterprise applications, sensitive data, and critical infrastructure. Unlike traditional machine identities, these agents can independently initiate actions, interact with other agents, and execute workflows across multiple systems. Security teams need to know which agents exist, who owns them, what they're intended to do, and whether their access aligns with that purpose. In a Cloud Security Alliance survey conducted with Token Security, 82% of organizations found at least one AI agent or autonomous workflow they didn't know they had in the past year.

Identity is the control plane for AI agent security. Token Security enables enterprises to discover AI agents, connect them to their identities, credentials, and human owners, and enforce security policies across their entire lifecycle. Through the partnership, Simeio will help customers embed these capabilities into existing identity governance and privileged access management programs. Joint engagements will help customers:

  • Discover: Continuously discover and inventory AI agents across cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and development environments, including shadow AI agents operating outside approved security processes. Identify associated identities, credentials, and MCP servers, and establish accountable human ownership.
  • Understand: Build a comprehensive picture of each agent's identity, permissions, access paths, and behavior. Correlate this information with ownership and business context to understand agent intent, identify excessive permissions, and prioritize security risks.
  • Enforce: Apply least-privilege access policies through automated remediation to eliminate unnecessary permissions and reduce the potential impact of compromised or misused agents. Govern AI agent identities throughout their lifecycle, from creation through retirement.

With more than 1,000 integrations, Token Security provides visibility and control across cloud, SaaS, on-premises, DevOps, and agentic AI environments. Its identity graph correlates AI agents, human owners, credentials, permissions, systems, and data to reveal how agents operate and what they can reach. This connects each agent to the identities it uses and the resources those identities can access, helping teams identify and address excessive access.

Simeio will offer Token Security as part of its enterprise identity security services, beginning with assessments that identify unmanaged AI agents, excessive permissions, and governance gaps. Assessment findings will include an agent inventory, ownership gaps, and excessive-access findings. Simeio will then help customers prioritize remediation, deploy Token Security, and integrate AI agent governance into existing identity governance and privileged access management programs. Ongoing managed services will help customers maintain security policies and controls as AI agent deployments expand.

"AI agents are rapidly becoming part of critical enterprise workflows, and traditional identity security programs weren't designed to govern autonomous systems. As these agents gain access to critical enterprise systems, organizations need to understand what they're doing, what they can access, and whether that access aligns with their intended purpose. We’re excited to partner with Token Security to support enterprises with the capabilities and expertise they need to bring AI agents under the same level of governance and control they expect for their human identities,” said Nick Rowe, CEO, Simeio.

"AI agents don't just generate responses. They take action, access sensitive data, and interact with critical business systems. Securing them requires understanding what each agent is supposed to do and enforcing the permissions it actually needs. We believe identity is the control plane for AI agent security, and our partnership with Simeio brings that approach into the enterprise identity programs customers already trust," said Itamar Apelblat, CEO and Co-Founder, Token Security.
